WHAT TO EXPECT

If you are experiencing the breakdown of a relationship, the legal process to resolve your situation and make all the arrangements relating to your finances and children can feel quite overwhelming.

Right from our initial meeting, I will make each step as clear as possible for you, and I will offer practical and realistic advice about what you can do to resolve your situation and move towards a resolution.

Our first consultation will probably take around an hour, whether we meet in person, by videocall or by telephone, and it is an opportunity for me to get as much information as possible from you before advising you on next steps. There’s no need to bring any detailed information along at this stage, as we will be looking at the whole situation.

I will highlight the legal issues to you, and give you advice on any steps you can take straight away to improve your situation, as well as coming up with a longer term strategy.

You will come away with a clearer idea of where you stand and how you can protect yourself and progress matters in the best way.
